Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit them. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how visitors use the site.
Not all cookies are the same. Some are essential for a website to function properly, while others are used for analytics or advertising. We only use cookies that are necessary or genuinely useful to your experience at HVPT.
These cookies are necessary for the website and member app to work properly. They cannot be disabled.
If you arrive from a link that carries a campaign tag (for example a flyer, a poster or an ad, such as ?src=poster), we keep that tag in your browser’s sessionStorage as hvpt_booking_source, so that a booking you make can be matched to where you heard about us. This is not a cookie, the stored tag is not sent anywhere until you book and is never sent to Meta by us, and it is removed when you close the tab. If you have accepted cookies, though, the address of the page you land on (which includes the tag) is part of what the Meta Pixel reports. It is kept whether or not you accept cookies, because it is only your own link’s tag passed to the booking you choose to make.
We do not currently use any analytics cookies on this website. If we add analytics in the future (such as Google Analytics), we will update this policy and only activate analytics cookies if you have accepted non-essential cookies via the consent banner.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for conversion tracking and advertising performance measurement. The Pixel is only loaded after you accept cookies via the consent banner. If you reject, the Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta from your browser or from our servers.
If you accept: the Pixel sets the cookies _fbp and _fbc (which help Meta recognise the same browser) and reports page views, a free-class booking, starting the four-week trial, and paying for it, together with the address of the page (and the page you came from), your IP address and browser details, as any website does when it loads something from Meta. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent to Meta. We do not currently send events from our own servers; if we start (Meta’s Conversions API, which would include your email address and phone number in hashed form for a free-class booking), we will update this policy first. Meta is based in the United States and also acts as a controller of that data under its own privacy policy.
We do not share your browsing data with advertisers or data brokers beyond what is described above.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings.
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our full Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data more broadly.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date below. If we start using new types of cookies, we’ll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again.
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy or how we use cookies, get in touch.
